Adele Sharron learned to sing at an early age. Adele remembers singing her first solo in church at the age of five, when she sang the hymn "Away In A Manger".
Throughout her school years Adele was active in many choral and select singing groups. At the age of 15, Adele won a solo contest at the annual high school vocal jazz competition at University of Northern Colorado. Her award was a trip to the Phil Mattson Vocal Jazz Workshop in Los Angeles.
Adele attended Metropolitan State College of Denver, where she continued her music education with private voice lessons under the instruction of Dr. Beverly Fernald. Adele also performed in the most select choral groups under the direction of Dr. Gerald McCullum.
During her college years, Adele decided to take up guitar. Having played piano since she was a young child, Adele wanted to be able to play something different. Adele bought a guitar and formed a band, "Without a Clue", which performed locally in the Denver area. She was lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the band, which performed both original and cover music. She was introduced to the bass guitar by the guitarist for the band, Greg Gibb. In 1993, Adele graduated Metro State with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a minor in Music.
After graduation, Adele briefly worked as a professional soloist for Saint Luke's Presbyterian Church in Denver. However, she soon became an IT consultant for IBM and was unable to perform professionally due to an extensive travel schedule. She continued to play and write music on her own and performed sporadically at church, weddings, and private parties.
In 1998, Adele joined the Worship Team at Prairie Ridge Christian Church as singer and bassist. In 2002, Adele's sister, JP, approached her with the idea for a new band called DECADES. On leave from IBM after having a baby, Adele was free to pursue the project. The band premiered in the summer of 2003. Adele is currently performing with DECADES and the Prairie Ridge Worship Team in the Denver area.
